The Nikon COOLPIX S70 combines powerful features with an easy to use touch screen interface in a chic and compact body. Most notable of the S70 is its large 3.5 inch (288k dots) OLED display with touch screen control that dominates the back of the camera and leave it stylishly bare. The Nikon S70 delivers solid performance from the 12.1 megapixels CCD image sensor as well as a Nikkor 5x optical zoom which offers a 35mm equivalent focal range of 28 to 140mm. The S70?fs 5x anti-blur automatically counters blurred images in five different ways. Electronic VR (Vibration Reduction) and lens based optical image stabilisation reduces the effect of camera shake either simultaneously or according to your settings. High ISO light sensitivity of up to ISO 6400 reduces the risk of blurred images with fast-moving subjects or in low-light by allowing a faster shutter speed to be possible. While Motion detection compensates for camera and subject movement and Best Shot Selector (BSS) automatically selects the sharpest of up to 10 sequential shots.
